I’m Back!

Hello all!! I know its been a while since I’ve posted thanks to my busy schedule at school but I am home for the summer once again! Time for me to hop back on it. Tonight I took the first step and signed up for Weight Watchers. my mom started the plan before me and I like the setup so I am going to give it try. Wish me luck! I leave for Disney on August 1st and I want to be about 190lbs. My starting weight is about 230. So that only gives me 3 months to lose about 40lbs. A bit of a daunting task but I’m ready to take it on. I also got a job at a local gym here in the daycare center. So hopefully I get some perks with the job like a membership lol They do P90X at the gym so I wont have any excuses to not workout. I’ll be doing Insanity Beach body workout at home. Its gonna kick me ass but the hard work is worth it. So again I’m back! I’ll be posting stats, progress with WW and Insanity, and my workout routine with me job. Check back in a few!

Wanna know why I want to lose weight?

Because I want that confidence I once had when I was a smaller size. And when I lose even more weight, I want even more confidence.

Dancing..

So I debating about joining a dance studio down the street from where I live. It offers like the stripper classes, ballet fusion, zumba, hiphop, belly dancing and like all these other fun workout classes. its $60 a month for 8 classes a month. Not too bad. That’s like 2 week, which would fill my T&Th workout days. The thing is I get like $100 every other week. That would leave me with like $140 for the rest of the month:

$40 of that goes towards my nails and eyebrows

$20 or so on travel

$40 on eating out

$40 on entertainment

Hmmm..I think I just figured my budget for the month lol I can totally fit this dance membership into my budget. Or maybe i can get my parents to cover it since its a health benefit lol yea, sike lol

End of Week 2

As week 2 comes to close I am both happy and a bit disappointed. My second week wasn’t as good as my first but I did managed to make it 2 weeks in, which was a big goal. Now that I’ve kinda established a routine I know where and when I can fit in my workouts and how my meals come into play. This upcoming week I am going to start working out in the morning. The gym opens at 7am. I can do 20 minutes n MWF and longer on T&Th. In my handy dandy weight loss book “Body for Life” it says for those who are looking to lose fat, its better to workout in the morning on an empty stomach so they body is forced to feed out the already stored fat for energy. I also use his workout strategy of pushing myself to the limit. it’s funny because my daddy taught me the same things when he trained me (very briefly, I couldn’t hang lol) And so far its been engaging and keeping me attention. I also like to watch a little Netflix while i workout so the time flies by. Netflix is my best friend lol OH! And I must add that these Splurge days I’m trying to add into my week…suck. I order pizza the other night because it was splurge day and I said “why the hell not” I felt SICK. Like it wasn’t even as appetizing to me as it once was. And that HUGE for me since Pizza is my favorite food..or was. I can’t stomach regular Lays chips, large portions of food, COOKIES! UHH I was disgusted by the amount of calories in 3 cookies. 270 calories..I was like I can’t believe I use to eat like 7 of these in one setting..The almost my entire calorie-intake now, in a few sugary cookies. I just didn’t see how and why I would. Anyways, it a new week. Taking the 12 week bikini body challenge. More intense workouts. Less sugar. Smaller portions. More meals. Grazing its called. I’ll be posting pictures and snacks and tricks i’m learning on my journey to a skinnier OJ!
